Greco di Tufo DOCG is a white wine with ancient origins, produced from the Greco grape variety in the tufaceous hills of Irpinia. The name "di Tufo" comes from the homonymous town, where the vines sink their roots into soil rich in volcanic tuff that gives the wine its unmistakable minerality.
With a straw-yellow color and greenish undertones, on the nose it expresses notes of white-fleshed fruit, bitter almond, and mineral hints. On the palate it is fresh, savory, with good structure and a long, almond-like finish.
It is among Italy's most long-lived white wines, capable of aging for over a decade.
