The Orvinio Pro Loco returns with one of the most anticipated events of the Lazio summer: the 43rd edition of the Sagra della Polenta. After mid-August, on Saturday 22nd and Sunday 23rd August, Piazza del Comune will transform into a gastronomic arena where the culinary tradition of the Monti Lucretili will meet family-friendly entertainment. Starting from 7:00 PM, visitors can enjoy steaming polenta accompanied by sausage and pork cuts, all served in the traditional wooden scifetto bowl that makes the experience even more authentic. But the festival is more than just food: the two days will come alive with numerous activities designed for both children and adults. Children can have fun in play areas with inflatables, while adults can discover local wines through dedicated tastings. The charm of the village will be further enriched by a painting exhibition and especially by performances of Roman stornellatori (traditional folk singers), who will bring authentic voices of Lazio's popular tradition to the Piazza. A perfect event to rediscover the genuine flavors of Roman and Lazio cuisine in a convivial and welcoming atmosphere.
