The 47th edition of the Sagra dei Ceci e dello Zafferano returns with renewed enthusiasm to the enchanting medieval village of Navelli in Abruzzo. This celebration honors nearly fifty years of culinary tradition, bringing to the table the renowned Ceci di Navelli Slow Food Presidium and the Zafferano dell'Aquila DOP—ingredients representing the region's internationally recognized agricultural excellence. Over two festive days, visitors can taste authentic dishes prepared according to generations-old recipes by the village's historic collaborators, all while immersed in the magical atmosphere of the ancient hamlet with its medieval stones and cobblestone streets.
