Trebbiano d'Abruzzo

Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is a white DOC wine that represents one of the most significant expressions of Abruzzo's winemaking tradition. Produced mainly in the provinces of Teramo, Pescara, Chieti and L'Aquila, this wine is made from Trebbiano Toscano grapes, cultivated in a territory characterized by a temperate continental climate and soils that impart distinctive organoleptic qualities.

In the glass, Trebbiano d'Abruzzo presents itself with a straw-yellow color of varying intensity, with an aromatic profile ranging from delicate floral notes to white-fleshed fruit aromas. On the palate it displays a pleasant freshness and good acidity, accompanied by a lean yet well-balanced structure, with an alcohol content generally between 12 and 13 degrees.

In the kitchen, this versatile white wine proves to be an excellent pairing for fish-based dishes, from seafood soups to shellfish, right through to crustaceans. Thanks to its drinkability and lack of heaviness, it also pairs well with vegetarian dishes based on grilled vegetables and medium-intensity cheeses. Serve it well chilled, around 10-12 degrees, to enhance its characteristics.
