Miele della Valle d'Aosta is an excellence product crafted by bees that forage between 600 and 2,000 meters of altitude, among pristine Alpine flora. The main varieties are millefiori di montagna, rhododendron, chestnut, and linden.
Rhododendron honey, harvested between June and July above 1,500 meters, is the most prized: almost white, delicate, with floral notes and a finish reminiscent of vanilla. Alpine millefiori captures the aromas of hundreds of different botanical species.
In the kitchen, it pairs beautifully with Valle d'Aosta cheeses, polenta, chestnut sweets, and rye black bread.
