Tipica - Percorso Enogastronomico, also known as the Sagra dell'Olio e delle Tipicità Vietresi, brings the historic center of Vietri di Potenza to life with a culinary trail dedicated to authentic flavors, local extra virgin olive oil, and traditional Lucanian recipes. The route unfolds through themed stages across the village's streets and squares: the Vigna della Corte area is dedicated to appetizers, Piazza XXIII Novembre hosts first courses (pasta dishes), and Piazza del Popolo features main meat courses. Among the specialties on offer are parmariedd pasta with breadcrumbs, cavatiedd with tomato sauce, fried eggs with crunchy crusco peppers, ciambotta vegetable stew, calzoni filled with greens, fried zucchini flowers, and arrosticini skewers. The food and wine experience is enlivened by a vibrant entertainment lineup, including craft markets, cultural exhibits, vintage motorcycle shows, street performers, roaming marching bands, and live music concerts in the squares.
