Cultivation follows traditional methods with cane supports and manual harvesting. This bean stands out for its thin skin and uniform cooking.

In the kitchen, it is the star of soups, stews, and side dishes from Lucanian tradition, often paired with peperoni cruschi and local extra virgin olive oil.
