Gust in Italy - Gal' dei Sapori Italiani (Talk & Show)

On August 9th, starting at 9:00 PM, the enchanting Piazza della Repubblica in Pizzo hosts "Gust in Italy - Gal' dei Sapori Italiani", a prestigious "Talk & Show" event celebrating food culture as both an art form and a driver of development. An evening of discussion, entertainment and tastings, presented by the Municipality of Pizzo and GAL Terre Vibonesi.

The Protagonists: Voices of Taste and Culture

At the heart of the event is a compelling talk show featuring distinguished guests from journalism, institutions and culture: Edoardo Raspelli (TV Journalist), Vitaliano Papillo (GAL President), Sergio Pittitto (Mayor of Pizzo), Salvatore Geraci (Mayor of Cerda), Michelangelo Tagliaferri (Communication Sociologist), Rosario Previtera (EU Climate Pact Ambassador) and Piero Muscari (Founder of Eccellenze Italiane). The event also celebrates the twinning between Pizzo, "Capital of Taste", and Cerda (Palermo), "Artichoke City", uniting two culinary excellences of Southern Italy.

Following this philosophy, the evening will offer the opportunity to taste exceptional products, starting with Pizzo's iconic Tartufo gelato (frozen truffle), and specialties linked to Cerda's renowned artichokes. The GAL will transform Piazza della Repubblica into an elegant cultural salon. The atmosphere will be that of a prestigious event, where thought-provoking discussions alternate with moments of spectacular entertainment. Closing the evening will be a Live Music Show by Le Rivoltelle, an all-female band known for their energetic sound and engaging performances.
