7 Km di Tramonto (7 Km of Sunset)

From May 1 to September 30, 2026, Forio hosts '7 Km di Tramonto', a scenic trail celebrating the enchanting island sunset along the coast. The route winds for seven kilometers from San Francesco all the way to Punta Imperatore, taking in beaches, cliffs, headlands, and promenades that provide prime vantage points to witness the transition from day to night and, during summer, the famous green flash phenomenon. The experience blends scenery, culture, and social moments, offering the chance to stop along the way for a sunset aperitivo. The exact sunset time and its countdown are shared daily via the initiative's official social channels, bringing together visitors, locals, and businesses in a shared island-wide celebration.
