Medicipolla returns to Medicina, the July fair celebrating one of Emilia-Romagna's finest products. From July 10-12, 2026, the historic center of this Bologna-area town transforms into a grand showcase dedicated to the Cipolla di Medicina DOP, featuring a rich program of events ranging from food and wine experiences to local traditions. Organized by the Pro Loco in collaboration with the Consorzio della Cipolla di Medicina and the municipal administration, this is an unmissable opportunity to discover the area's culinary excellence. Among the main attractions are agricultural machinery exhibitions, markets with local vendors and artisans, in-depth meetings with regional consortiums, and vintage rallies that transport visitors back in time. But the true star remains the food and wine sector, with typical specialties offered at various food stations—and especially the return of the famous ‹World's Longest Omelette›, whose record organizers aim to surpass once again this year. A weekend designed for the whole family, with entertainment and shows promising fun for all ages.
