Escursione alla scoperta di erbe spontanee (Wild Herb Foraging Excursion)

On Saturday, September 5, 2026, meeting at the Campo Sportivo in Cavazzo Carnico, a guided excursion through local meadows and woods will take participants on a journey to discover native wild herbs. The initiative aims to showcase the region's rich botanical heritage, deepening knowledge of Carnia's biodiversity and unique environmental features. Led by expert forager Mauro Löwenthal, attendees will learn how to identify key edible species, distinguish them from toxic plants, and discover sustainable harvesting methods along with traditional culinary uses of wild plants.
