Fagnigola di Azzano Decimo (PN) – 51ª Sagra del Formaggio

The 51st Sagra del Formaggio of Fagnigola returns to celebrate the dairy excellence of Friuli Venezia Giulia with an event that for half a century has been an unmissable appointment for cheese lovers and enthusiasts of local gastronomic tradition. From June 12-21, 2026, the Fagnigola sports facilities in Azzano Decimo will transform into an arena of flavors, where the quality of typical Friulian cheeses takes center stage, accompanied by culinary specialties from the region's finest traditions. Throughout the festival you'll find a rich menu ranging from grilled specialties to fried cod, chicken steak to fresh fish, alongside prestigious DOP cheese selections and regional wines that make Friulian gastronomy unique in the Italian culinary landscape. A perfect opportunity to discover and savor the authentic flavors of the region, immersed in an atmosphere of celebration and conviviality that characterizes this now-historic event. This 51st edition presents major highlights: new regional cheese producer exhibitors, guided tastings with cheese experts, and a dedicated space for emerging talents in Friulian gastronomy.
