The 55th edition of Sagre d'Avôst in Martignacco returns in July with one of the most eagerly anticipated summer events in Friuli Venezia Giulia. Also known as Festa della Tagliata or Sagre dal Plevan, this festival represents a well-established tradition that combines passion for Friulian gastronomy with a love for live dance music. The event takes place in the splendid setting of the festival grounds behind the Church of San Biagio, creating an authentic and convivial atmosphere where tradition and entertainment meet. For two consecutive weeks, from July 23 to August 3, the village of Martignacco transforms into a great open-air stage where visitors can immerse themselves in genuine Friulian cuisine. The star of the event is undoubtedly the tagliata, the signature dish of the festival, prepared according to traditional recipes passed down through generations.
