The Festa sul Nonsel in Pordenone is an unmissable celebration of the profound bond between the city and its most important river. The Noncello is far more than just a waterway—it is the beating heart of Pordenone's history. From its banks emerged the first settlement that would give the city its very name, Pordenone, derived from 'Portus Naonis', the port on the Noncello. For centuries, this river has been the engine of commercial development and local prosperity, transforming the territory into an important hub of trade and commerce. From June 12-14, 2026, Pro Pordenone passionately revives this historic tradition, transforming the river's banks into a space for conviviality and rediscovery of the city's roots. Three days celebrating tradition, community, and the historical memory that continues to thrive in Pordenone's streets and waters. The program features: artisan markets and typical products from Friuli-Venezia Giulia, gastronomic tastings along the riverbanks, live music performances on Saturday and Sunday evenings, artistic exhibitions dedicated to the history of the Noncello, themed guided tours of the medieval city, educational workshops for families and children, and dance and theatre performances. Hours: 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM (Saturday and Sunday) and 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM (Friday).
