Sagra delle patate

The Sagra delle Patate of Ovoledo is one of the most authentic and anticipated events of the Friuli summer, a celebration that proudly honors rural tradition and the genuine flavors of the territory. Organized by the Ovoledo Social and Recreation Club during the last two weeks of July, the festival transforms this small village into a place of conviviality where the potato, a humble vegetable and symbol of local cuisine, becomes the undisputed star of an unforgettable gastronomic experience.

The menu is a hymn to simplicity and authentic taste: from handmade gnocchi prepared fresh to crispy fried potatoes, from potato salad to succulent meats, and to the famous frico with potatoes, a dish that captures the essence of Friuli's culinary tradition.
