The Festival di Trieste – Il Faro della Musica returns for its fourth edition from 14 to 24 September 2026, establishing itself as one of the leading musical events in north-eastern Italy. Organised by the Società dei Concerti Trieste in collaboration with the Municipality, the festival transforms this historic city into a true international stage with eleven days packed with outstanding artistic offerings. The 2026 edition stands out for its particularly prestigious programme: approximately twenty events including symphonic concerts, chamber music, opera productions and family shows, hosted in iconic venues such as the Teatro Verdi, Teatro Rossetti and the enchanting Castello di Miramare. This year also celebrates significant cultural milestones—the 270th anniversary of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart's birth and the centenary of Franco Gulli, the legendary Triestine violinist. Adding even more lustre to this edition is the participation of major figures from the world music scene: flautist Emmanuel Pahud, conductor and harpsichordist Ton Koopman, the RAI Orchestra and the Soloists of the National Academy of Santa Cecilia.
