The Šagra Na Krmenki of Mattonaia returns from June 12-15, 2026 to San Dorligo della Valle, an unmissable event for lovers of traditional Karst cuisine and conviviality. This celebration honors the cultural roots of the local community, where gastronomy and live music come together to create a festive and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family. Throughout the weekend, the grills stay fired up to prepare the most anticipated specialties of Karst tradition. The undisputed stars are cevapcici, spiced meatballs from Balkan cuisine reinterpreted according to local recipes, accompanied by beef ribs, ombolo (pork shoulder), and grilled chicken.
