Olio Tuscia

Olio Tuscia DOP is an extra virgin olive oil produced in the hills of Viterbo province, in northern Lazio. The Protected Designation of Origin certification guarantees that the entire production process, from cultivation to processing, takes place strictly within the defined geographical area, ensuring the authenticity and quality of the product.

This variety stands out for its fruity character, with notes that evoke green olives and the aromas of the Lazio countryside. On the palate, it presents a pleasant herbaceous note and a slight peppery finish, typical of oils extracted from early-harvest olives. The appearance is golden yellow with greenish reflections, a sign of the freshness of the olives used.

In the kitchen, Olio Tuscia DOP is excellent as a raw condiment on soups, grilled vegetables, and fish dishes, where its sensory characteristics are fully expressed. It is also well-suited for preparing traditional local dishes, while using it in high-temperature cooking does not enhance its organoleptic qualities.
