Festa del Mare a Terracina (Sea Festival in Terracina)

The Festa del Mare 2026 makes its debut in Terracina with an event celebrating the deep bond between the Pontine community and its sea. From July 14-19, the squares of the Fishermen's Village will transform into a grand stage of conviviality, where maritime traditions and gastronomic innovation meet. Born from collaboration between the Municipal Administration and the Madonna del Carmelo Committee, the event represents a moment of territorial celebration, with Piazzale Stella Polare as the epicenter of a true temporary seaside village. The gastronomic heart of the festival is entrusted to the TTS Food circuit, showcasing over 20 street chefs from across Italy and abroad. Here you'll discover territorial specialties: roasted octopus and fried anchovies, Apulian bombettes, Abruzzese arrosticini, Sicilian cannoli and arancini, alongside international dishes like Mexican tacos, Greek pita, and Argentine asado. A culinary journey celebrating the richness and diversity of Italian and European gastronomic tradition. The event features an extraordinary lineup of free performances, with evening concerts by artists such as Noemi, Michael Jackson Experience, Tony Tammaro and ReQueen, beach games, theatrical exhibitions, and a spectacular midnight fireworks show. An event uniting the sacred and secular, accompanying the celebrations of Madonna del Carmelo – a tradition rooted in Terracina since 1852 – with a popular festival shared by the entire community.
