The 6th Sagra del Tartufo Aurunco returns to Santi Cosma e Damiano from July 10-12, 2026 to celebrate one of the most precious products of the Monti Aurunci mountains. Three unforgettable evenings celebrating authentic flavors, where local culinary tradition meets quality entertainment in a magical and engaging atmosphere. Organized by the Tartufai Association of Monti Aurunci with support from local institutions, this event promises a complete experience for truffle lovers and food enthusiasts. Each evening unfolds with enchanting scenery: local artisan stands open at 7:00 PM, creating a traditional market atmosphere showcasing the region's finest products, while truffle tastings begin at 8:00 PM prepared by renowned chef Antonio Mignano from the celebrated Bacchettone restaurant and master chef Zazzà. Signature dishes include fresh pasta with shaved Aurunco truffle, risottos elevated by this precious fungus, and truffle-infused eggs that highlight delicate underground aromas.
