SAGRA DELLE TACCHIE AI FUNGHI PORCINI (Handmade Pasta & Porcini Mushroom Festival)

The Sagra delle Tacchie ai Funghi Porcini returns to Bellegra for its 18th edition over the first two weekends of October 2026. The undisputed star of the festival is the traditional 'tacchie', a handmade fresh pasta crafted according to an ancient local recipe using flour, water, and eggs, cut into distinct irregular rectangles and served with porcini mushrooms gathered from the surrounding woods of Bellegra. Throughout the celebration, three food stations set across the village offer a full porcini-based set menu, individual dishes, a dedicated stand serving porcini arancini, and a kids' menu. The rich entertainment lineup features evening live music, folk performances, artisan markets, a children's play area, and the traditional 'Gens Vitellia' historical parade. Visitors can also take advantage of the event to join guided tours of the nearby Grotte dell'Arco, open both morning and afternoon. To make reaching the festival easy, designated parking lots are connected by free shuttle buses, and in case of bad weather, activities will take place inside a covered, heated hall.
