Sagra della Nocciola (Hazelnut Festival)

In the charming village of Caprarola, the 70th edition of the Sagra della Nocciola celebrates the renowned Tonda Gentile Romana hazelnut, an exquisite local product typical of the Cimini Mountains volcanic area. The event is organized by the '86 Committee in partnership with the local Pro Loco and municipal administration. The festival path features 'La via della nocciola', a dedicated area for purchasing and tasting local delicacies, alongside food stalls serving traditional dishes and sweets. A central and characteristic highlight is the traditional parade of folkloric and rural floats, accompanied by the free distribution of hazelnut-based products. The evening schedule offers rich entertainment: videomapping shows projected onto the facade of Palazzo Farnese, live concerts, DJ sets, beauty pageant selections, and festivities tied to the village's patron saint celebrations.
