On Saturday, February 21, 2026, Moneglia comes alive with a day celebrating tradition and fun: the Carnevale della Zucca, now in its XXXI edition, returns to color the charming Ligurian village with masks, allegorical floats, and the unmistakable joy of carnival. An event that unites the local community and visitors in a celebration of the territory's popular culture and gastronomy.

The day begins in the morning with the 5th Cimento della Zucca, an invigorating plunge into the waters of Spiaggia Centrale at 10:00 AM, followed by traditional polenta and wine offered by the Gruppo Alpini and Gruppo Marinai. In the afternoon comes the highlight: the Grand Parade with masked groups, decorated floats, and festive atmosphere animating the village streets with games, face painting, and local delicacies.
