The 30th edition of Rossiglione's Fragolata returns to celebrate summer's most beloved red fruit with a festival dedicated to authenticity and Ligurian tradition. In the picturesque village of Valle Stura, strawberries become the absolute stars of a day filled with tastings, zero-kilometer markets, and initiatives involving the entire local community.

On May 25, 2026, in Rossiglione, the two characteristic hamlets of the town—the medieval Rossiglione Inferiore with its historic buildings built around the Church of Nostra Signora Assunta, and the older Rossiglione Superiore with its tall houses and evocative arcades—come alive to welcome visitors and enthusiasts. Fresh strawberries from Valle Stura, cultivated using traditional methods, become the main ingredient in exclusive tastings, artisanal jams, and typical dishes prepared by local chefs.

Day's schedule: from 10:00 AM opening of markets with local producers of strawberries, vegetables, and food and wine products; from 11:00 AM guided tastings begin; in the afternoon, folk music performances and traditional competitions. A dedicated space for Liguria's DOC wines that enhance the sweet flavors of strawberries, with sommeliers available for consultations. Family area with workshops for children on strawberry picking and fruit processing.
