LA REPUBBLICA DEL GUSTO returns to Noli for its twenty-first edition, confirming itself as the most captivating food and wine festival on the Ligurian Riviera. On the evocative shores of the Passeggiata dei Pescatori, from September 4-6, 2026, this ancient fishing village transforms into a stage where history, tradition, and local flavors converge. Over twenty Slow Food presidia and zero-kilometer products animate the stands, telling the story of the gastronomic richness and artisanal fishing culture of this land.

What makes this event truly unique is the opportunity to witness live sciabica fishing, an ancestral technique rooted deep in Ligurian maritime tradition. Two fishermen on a small fishing boat venture into the gulf to cast a large seine net, while others wait on the shore for the crucial moment: when the signal comes, the net is hauled in by sheer force, a spectacle of coordination and labor that represents centuries of craftsmanship.

The event, sponsored by the City of Noli and the Slow Food presidia of Savona, Albenga, Finale, and Alassio, is recognized as an Authentic Event of the Liguria Region 2026.
