The community of Travagliato celebrates the 40th edition of its traditional Castagnata, a classic autumn gathering dedicated to local flavors and conviviality. The festivities kick off on Friday evening with the opening of the food stands, ready to welcome visitors for three days filled with delicious local cuisine. Throughout the weekend, the schedule features roasted chestnut distribution starting Saturday afternoon while supplies last, alongside the chance to enjoy a traditional Sunday takeaway Brescia-style spit roast (spiedo) by reservation. Every evening of the festival will feature live music entertainment with DJ Tony.
