Adrian Fartade: scienza e ribellione (Science and Rebellion)

Renowned science communicator Adrian Fartade arrives in Montichiari with his talk titled 'Scienza e ribellione' (Science and Rebellion). Journeying through the lives of iconic figures who dared to challenge the dogmas and established powers of their time — from Galileo and Giordano Bruno to Hypatia, Lise Meitner, Einstein, Rachel Carson, and Margherita Hack —, this engaging conference explores the power of science to look beyond boundaries, while also examining the ethical responsibilities and everyday impact of knowledge. The event is part of 'La Signora delle Stelle' (The Lady of the Stars) cultural program, an initiative created to honor Professor Laura Pasinetti on the twentieth anniversary of the donation that enabled the Municipality to acquire the art gallery featuring paintings by her grandfather, Antonio Pasinetti. The event is organized by the Municipality of Montichiari in collaboration with Montichiari Musei and Fondazione Provincia di Brescia Eventi.
