Concerto dei Rosegarden (Rosegarden Concert)

As part of the Estate Monteclarense festival, Piazza Santa Maria in Montichiari sets the stage for a concert by Rosegarden. The ensemble presents an evening dedicated entirely to jazz, performed through a blend of technical skill, personality, and expressive creativity. The quintet – featuring Sara Alquati on vocals, Gianni Corradini on piano, Fabio Tagni on bass, Matteo Mafessanti on drums, and Stefano Aimo on trumpet – will take audiences on a sonic journey through the great American jazz masters and classic jazz standards. The performance alternates between intimate, soft moments and swinging, Latin rhythms inspired by the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, while also featuring jazz-inspired reinterpretations of classical Italian musical pieces.
