Frazioni Spiedanti returns to Muscoline, celebrating one of the most authentic dishes in Brescia's culinary tradition. Now in its sixth edition, this gastronomic event takes place on Saturday, August 1st and offers an unmissable opportunity for lovers of spiedo—the celebrated Brescia-style roast with deep roots in Lombardy's food heritage. Organized by the Municipality of Muscoline together with the Culture Commission and the L. Pavanelli Oratory, the event transforms the village into a true culinary arena where amateur competitors challenge each other in the art of preparing this traditional dish. The day begins in the early afternoon at 2:30 PM, when participants gather at Muscoline's Oratory to begin preparations. Here, in an atmosphere of conviviality and culinary passion, the skewers are created and will be tasted during dinner at 8:00 PM. This is more than just a competition—it's a genuine tribute to a tradition that embodies the authentic flavors of Brescia's cuisine, made with simple ingredients, time-honored technique, and deep love for the local territory. Awards are presented at 9:00 PM, recognizing the finest practitioners of this ancient culinary art. The evening concludes with entertainment from the Danilo Rancati Band, providing the perfect soundtrack to a celebration of great food, community, and music.
