Giornata del ringraziamento (Thanksgiving Day)

Chiari once again welcomes the traditional Giornata del Ringraziamento, organized by Coldiretti Brescia under the patronage of the City of Chiari to celebrate the dedication of local farmers and the rural roots of the area. The morning begins with a gathering of agricultural vehicles in the via Maffoni car park alongside a hearty breakfast hosted by the Alpini, followed by a tractor parade winding through the town center, Holy Mass at the Church of San Faustino, and the final blessing in Piazza Zanardelli. The celebration concludes with a convivial community banquet at the Oratorio San Bernardino, celebrating authentic local flavors. The festive menu highlights regional classics such as Franciacorta risotto and traditional Brescia-style spiedo with polenta, along with an appetizer, dessert, and drinks, with advance reservations required while seats last.
