Sagra degli gnocchi ripieni

In Albino, in the province of Bergamo, one of Lombardy's most eagerly anticipated gastronomic festivals takes place: the Sagra degli Gnocchi Ripieni. From July 16-20, 2026, the town transforms into a stage dedicated to this local specialty, whose potato gnocchi represent a true symbol of Bergamo's culinary tradition. The recipe, born in the 1980s from the creativity of Gianluigi Moro's mother at Trattoria Moro, contains a delicious filling of prosciutto and cheeses that captivates the palates of visitors to this festival.

Beyond the undisputed stars of the event—the stuffed gnocchi—the menu offers other local zero-kilometer delicacies that represent the excellence of regional cuisine: casoncelli, game dishes, grilled meats, wild game, polenta, and the traditional pica söta. Each course tells the story and passion of those working to preserve the authentic recipes of the Bergamo valley.
