Sapori e Cultura (Flavors and Culture)

The 18th edition of Sapori e Cultura returns to enliven Zogno from October 4 to November 29, 2026, celebrating the deep bond between the local community and the chestnut, the iconic fruit of autumn and valley tradition. Organized by the Municipality of Zogno-Zogno Turismo in partnership with VisitBrembo, this festival blends cultural heritage, scenic discovery, and authentic local food through a series of widespread events held between Piazza Martina, Viale Martiri della Libertà, and other spots throughout the area. The calendar features an array of themed activities and excursions, including routes along La Via delle Castagne, a guided botanical forest walk, an Aperitivo al Braciere at Agriturismo Casa Martina, and the traditional Festa dei Biligòcc in the hamlet of Castegnone. Visitors can also browse characteristic market stalls dedicated to crafts, hobbies, and local agricultural produce, all paired with steaming roasted chestnuts and mulled wine. The culinary lineup extends to local restaurants throughout the area, which will serve special chestnut-based dishes ranging from classic recipes to creative gourmet interpretations throughout the festival. The program is rounded out by cultural talks, guided tastings, live shows, a photography exhibition, and engaging recreational activities for children.
