The event 'Due sposi, una dinastia. Vita, amori e aneddoti di Casa Litta' brings an enchanting period costume historical reenactment to Villa Visconti Borromeo Litta in Lainate. Set within the renowned Nymphaeum and accompanied by the estate's traditional water features, this initiative offers visitors an immersive journey into the atmosphere of the 18th century and the Age of Enlightenment. The narrative traces the life stories of Maria Elisabetta Visconti Borromeo and Pompeo Giulio Litta, from their arranged marriage to the birth of their fourteen children, providing a vivid glimpse into aristocratic life and Lombard Enlightenment education. The experience is organized by the volunteers of the Associazione Amici di Villa Litta in collaboration with MDM – Music Dance and Mimic Art, directed by Desirée Motta, and featuring local historical reenactment groups.
