Festa della birra e del gnocco fritto (Beer and Fried Dough Festival)

The hamlet of Belforte in Gazzuolo hosts the 23rd edition of the Festa della birra e del gnocco fritto, organized by Circolo La Torre with the patronage of the Municipality of Gazzuolo alongside the traditional Fiera di San Bartolomeo. Piazza Risorgimento comes alive with a rich food journey and lively evening entertainment. The star of the table is freshly made gnocco fritto (crispy fried dough), served alongside a curated selection of local cured meats and cheeses, including spalla cotta, prosciutto crudo, Mantuan salami, coppa piacentina, mortadella, Grana Padano, gorgonzola, and provolone with mostarda fruit preserve. The culinary offerings also feature the traditional DE.CO-certified risotto alla belfortese cooked with sausage, peas, and tomato, mixed fried seafood, and a variety of blonde and red beers. The evenings feature a vibrant musical lineup: opening night kicks off with a DJ set by Matt Fortress B2B Dj Capsy, followed by Dj Yano Music Machine, a crowd-voted DJ contest, and a grand finale with the live 90s party show 'Voglio tornare negli anni 90'.
