The Festa di San Bartolomeo and Sagra dei Gnòch returns to Grumello Cremonese ed Uniti, the most eagerly awaited summer event in the province of Cremona. On August 22-23, 2026, the enchanting Cascina Castello will host two evenings celebrating local culinary traditions and entertainment. A century-old tradition honoring San Bartolomeo, patron saint of the community, through the most authentic gastronomy of the region. Gnocchi in their many variations—from the famous pumpkin gnocchi with ricotta to classic versions with red sauce, butter and sage—will be the true stars of this festival, embodying the essence of Cremona's most popular and genuine cuisine. Saturday, August 22, the festivities begin at 7:30 PM with the kitchen opening, where you can enjoy gnocchi prepared according to traditional recipes, accompanied by typical local dishes. After dinner, the atmosphere comes alive with dancing to a live orchestra that will entertain guests late into the night. Sunday, August 23 features an afternoon aperitivo with live music, followed by a fun tombola raffle with prizes, keeping alive the festival's playful traditions.
