Festa popolare Madonna della Campagna (Popular Feast of Our Lady of the Countryside)

The Festa Popolare Madonna della Campagna returns to Seregno for its thirty-seventh edition, bringing with it the authentic atmosphere of Brianza traditions at the end of summer. Hosted in the evocative Madonna della Campagna Park in the Fuin district, this event commemorates the celebrations that farmers would organize at the end of harvests, transforming the first two weekends of September into an occasion for conviviality and collective memory. Among the artisan stalls and market stands, the true star is traditional Brianza cuisine, which captivates visitors with authentic and flavorful dishes: from cassoeula to casoncelli, from polenta to creamy risottos, to traditional sweets like panettone and mostaccioli. Live musical evenings with orchestras create a festive and engaging atmosphere, while traditional dances invite both young and old to participate actively. For younger visitors, inflatable games and dedicated entertainment make the festival a family event. The most anticipated moment remains the central Sunday with 'Fattorie in festa', the renowned livestock fair that transforms the park into a rural spectacle: farmers in traditional dress, farm animals (cows, sheep, goats, chickens), agricultural demonstrations and educational workshops create an authentic immersion in the Brianza rural world. A final fireworks display elegantly concludes an event that celebrates the roots and cultural identity of the territory. Admission to the festival is free.
