Fiera del Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili (Permanent Meadows Grana Padano Fair)

Held since 1995, the Fiera del Grana Padano dei Prati Stabili in Goito is a key event celebrating the renowned Mantuan Grana Padano PDO cheese, crafted from cows fed on forage from the permanent meadows of the Mincio Valley. The festival provides a meeting point for cooperative dairies, the protection consortium, and consumers, highlighting the agricultural supply chain and biodiversity conservation. Throughout the event, the town centre of Goito comes alive with a vast exhibition area, local producers' markets, and guided tastings of regional specialties. Visitors can also enjoy themed discussions, exhibitions, and educational workshops for students and families, alongside food stalls, food trucks, live music, and dedicated sports activities.
