Sagra della Rana di Cassignanica

The Sagra della Rana di Cassignanica returns for its 31st edition, confirming itself as one of the most anticipated gastronomic events in Lombardy. Hosted in the Parochial Area of the Church of San Vincenzo in Cassignanica, a hamlet of Rodano (MI), this festival attracts visitors from across Italy every year thanks to its extraordinary frog-based culinary specialties, which represent the true heart of the event.

The festival restaurant offers a rich and varied menu, where frogs are the undisputed stars: from fried frogs to frog risotto, passing through pasta all'arrabbiata, mixed fried dishes, grilled meat, braised beef with polenta, cod alla livornese, and tripe. Each dish is prepared with care to provide an authentic and unforgettable culinary experience, with evening openings at 19:00 (except Sunday the 3rd, which also opens for lunch, and Sunday the 10th dedicated to lunch only).

But the Sagra della Rana is not just about food: live musical entertainment is the other major attraction of the event.
