Festival del Salmone (Salmon Festival)

The 15th edition of Festival del Salmone returns to Monteleone di Fermo from August 27–30, 2026, cementing its status as one of the most anticipated gastronomic events in the Marche region. For four days, Scandinavian cuisine takes over the enchanting Monte Leone Club House Inn, transforming it into an oasis of Nordic flavors where traditionally smoked salmon reigns supreme. Events begin at 7:00 PM, with lunch service available on Saturday and Sunday, offering a culinary experience that combines gastronomic excellence with genuine conviviality. This edition debuts Flammlachs, the quintessential Scandinavian culinary spectacle: salmon is secured to wooden planks and cooked vertically over an open flame, creating a mesmerizing show that directly engages our Finnish guests. Completing the gastronomic offerings is the rare Lakka, an Arctic cloudberry transformed into a delightful dessert paired with artisanal gelato, delivering a sophisticated and unique sensory experience to Marche palates. The festival extends beyond food: two evenings of guided stargazing with professional telescopes, curated by expert Matteo Vittori, await reserved guests. Takeaway service is available upon reservation, and the festival operates in all weather conditions thanks to covered facilities.
