Sagra del Porchetto

In the hills of Marche, the small village of Monte San Vito transforms into a gastronomic capital every summer with the Sagra del Porchetto, an event celebrating one of the most iconic dishes of Adriatic culinary tradition. From July 3-6, 2026, the village streets fill with the irresistible aroma of young piglets slowly roasted over fire, a practice steeped in centuries of rural wisdom and respect for quality ingredients. Porchetto, the undisputed star of the festival, reaches rare perfection in this village: crispy on the outside, fragrant and incredibly tender inside, served both in rustic sandwiches and in more elaborate dishes.
