Estate in musica (Summer in Music)

The 'Estate in musica' concert series was born from the collaboration between the Municipality of Garessio and FestivalAlcontrario, aiming to celebrate the local heritage through high-profile musical performances. The events take place primarily in the evocative setting of Castello di Casotto, concluding with a final date hosted at the Church of Sant'Antonio da Padova in Pamparato. Under the artistic direction of Maestro Juan Paradell Solé—titular organist emeritus of the Sistine Chapel Choir and Pontifical Liturgies—the program offers an eclectic musical journey. Repertoire spans from trumpet and piano duos, mandolin and guitar, violin ensembles, and gypsy groups, to unique performances featuring saxophone, bassoon, and accordion, culminating in an organ concert.
