Fiera Nuova del Bue Grasso

The Fiera Nuova del Bue Grasso returns as the star attraction of the Piedmont summer season, a traditional event celebrating the gastronomic excellence of the Cassinelle valley. From July 31 to August 2, the Cassinelle sports field transforms into an arena of authentic flavors where local cuisine meets the convivial atmosphere of summer evenings. An unmissable opportunity to rediscover recipes that tell the story and identity of this corner of the Alessandria region. The food stalls offer a journey through taste via the territory's signature dishes: from ravioli and pansotti to grilled vitellone, from grilled meats to bollito misto, all accompanied by local wine. This year the fair enriches its offerings with interesting new additions such as vitello tonnato, while on Monday, August 3, the return of trippa alla Cassinellese—the true signature dish of the valley representing the culinary memory of the community. Beyond culinary delights, the evenings come alive with live music, a bar service, and a play area, creating a festive and inclusive atmosphere designed for the whole family.
