Pizza Festival - Pontecurone

The Pizza Festival is back on tour and this time it stops in Pontecurone, in the province of Alessandria, for a weekend dedicated to pizza and entertainment. From June 19-21, 2026, Piazza Martiri della Libertà will transform into a gastronomic arena where Italy's finest pizza makers will showcase their culinary artistry. This is a must-see opportunity for pizza lovers to discover the diverse traditions that characterize this iconic dish of Italian cuisine. You won't find only Neapolitan pizza: the festival offers a fascinating variety of preparations ranging from fried pizza to panuozzo, from calzone to panzerotto, passing through cuoppo and many other delicious specialties. Each pizzaiolo will present their creations with passion and mastery, allowing visitors to embark on a true gastronomic journey through Italy's regions. But the Pizza Festival is more than just food: the three days in Pontecurone will be enlivened by live music, fireworks displays, and entertainment for children, creating a festive and welcoming atmosphere for the whole family. With completely free admission, this is the perfect event to spend a summer weekend enjoying great food, conviviality, and fun. **Hours and Access** The festival will be open from 11:00 to 23:00 all three days. Admission to Piazza Martiri della Libertà is completely free. **Parking and Getting There** Public parking is available near the square. We recommend using the dedicated parking areas marked at the town entrance. For those arriving by train, Pontecurone station is approximately 500 meters from the venue. **What to Eat and Prices** Individual dish prices range from €5 to €12 depending on the specialty and pizzaiolo.
