In the heart of the Alessandria Monferrato area, Quattordio hosts the traditional Sagra dei Sicot, a celebration dedicated to zucchini, locally known as 'sicot'. This vegetable is so deeply rooted in the village's history that it even gave local residents their nickname, serving as a proud symbol of community identity and culinary heritage. At the center of the food offerings are recipes featuring zucchini certified with the municipal De.Co. label. Standout dishes include battered zucchini blossoms, marinated zucchini in 'carpione' style, a variation with scrambled eggs, and the signature 'Supercarpione', which combines chicken and zucchini in carpione. Food stalls also serve beloved Piedmontese classics like agnolotti, pesto lasagna, fried anchovies, and grilled meats.
