Calendario dell'Avvento a Torino (Advent Calendar in Turin)

In Piazza San Giovanni in Turin, right next to the city's Cathedral, the traditional Advent Calendar installation makes its welcome return. This festive initiative is part of the Christmas celebrations organized throughout the Piedmontese capital to guide locals and travelers through the joyful countdown to the holidays. The monumental, fairytale-like set design is inspired by the enchanting sketches of Emanuele Luzzati and brought to life through the artistic direction of Lastrego & Testa. Marking the daily countdown toward Christmas Day, each animated window is unveiled every afternoon with the special assistance of the local Fire Brigade.
