Festa dell’Uva e del Vino di Carema (Carema Grape and Wine Festival)

The Festa dell'Uva e del Vino di Carema reaches its 74th edition, celebrating the local winemaking heritage with a full week of cultural events, tastings, and festive gatherings. The festival kicks off with 'Carema Prima', an event dedicated to presenting the new vintages, alongside a cultural meeting focused on the Casaforte Masun and a performance by the Coro Bajolese choir. The weekend comes alive with the grape sample evaluations and the 'Andar per Cantine Antiche' food and wine tour through historic cellars. The program continues with a guided hike along the Vineyard Trail (Sentiero dei Vigneti), a solemn Holy Mass with the traditional blessing of the harvest, the Winemaker's Lunch, and the awards ceremony honoring the finest grape bunches with the prestigious Golden Bunch (Grappolo d'Oro).
