Festa di Sant'Anna - Sagra dello Spiedino (Saint Ann Festival - Skewer Feast)

The Festa di Sant'Anna returns to Villastellone to celebrate summer with three days dedicated to tradition, gastronomy, and music. From July 25 to 27, this Piedmont village comes alive with the Sagra dello Spiedino, an event that blends the sacred and secular in a festive and convivial atmosphere. Food stands open at 6:45 PM on Saturday, inviting visitors to discover local specialties in an atmosphere of authenticity and community. The undisputed star of the festival is the spiedino—a simple yet flavorful dish prepared according to local traditional recipes. Each skewer is expertly prepared with fresh meat and marinades typical of Piedmont, served with genuine accompaniments such as toasted bread and artisanal sauces. The full menu also features polenta, salamelle (grilled sausages), grilled ribs, and vegetarian specialties, with indicative prices ranging from €6 to €12 for main dishes. Comfortably seated under covered structures, diners can enjoy these gastronomic delights while being enchanted by live music. Saturday and Sunday evenings feature local orchestras and musicians creating a magical and engaging atmosphere, perfect for dancing and having fun late into the night.
