Sagra del Cossot - La Loggia

La Loggia is preparing to celebrate the twenty-second edition of the Sagra del Cossot on Sunday, June 14, 2026, a historic event dedicated to zucchini and the finest products of the Piedmont region. Throughout the day, from 8:00 AM to 7:00 PM with free admission, the streets and squares of the town centre will transform into a vibrant open-air market where market stalls, food stands, and demonstrations of traditional crafts will showcase local heritage. This is an unmissable opportunity to discover authentic flavors and the customs of the community. The gastronomic heart of the festival centers on cossot, the local zucchini that takes the starring role in traditional dishes prepared on the spot by food vendors: from stuffed zucchini to frittatas, from soups to Piedmontese specialties that highlight this versatile and genuine vegetable. More than just zucchini: the territory offers PDO cheeses, local wines, zero-kilometre products, and artisanal specialties that tell the story of Piedmont's gastronomic richness. The program is packed with attractions for all ages: vintage tractors tracing the agricultural history of the region, roaming musicians and folk dancing that will enliven the streets. Original initiatives such as the saddle blessing—a fun moment for young and old alike—will also be featured. From 7:00 PM onwards, the event continues in Piazzale Elsa Morante with an area dedicated to street food and live music, allowing visitors to end the day in good company.
