Sagra delle Rane

The Sagra delle Rane of San Ponso returns for its 24th edition with an unmissable appointment in the heart of Piedmont. From April 24 to May 2, 2026, the historic center of San Ponso (TO) transforms into a gastronomic stage where local culinary tradition reaches its fullest expression. The event represents a unique opportunity to immerse yourself in the festive atmosphere and authentic flavors of the Piedmont territory.

The true protagonist of the festival is undoubtedly frog-based cuisine, a local specialty fried to order using the traditional batter technique. Every bite tells the gastronomic story of San Ponso, where this recipe represents a culinary excellence passed down through time. Fried frogs are offered both for a pleasant dinner at the table and as takeaway, allowing every visitor to enjoy this delicacy according to their preferences.
