Sagra delle orecchiette (Handmade Orecchiette Festival)

In the heart of the Daunian Subappennines, in Deliceto, the Sagra delle orecchiette celebrates one of the most iconic dishes of Apulian cuisine. The event pays tribute to fresh, artisanal handmade pasta, rolled out strictly by hand by local homemakers in live cooking demonstrations before the audience, recreating a warm and traditional atmosphere. The gastronomic journey ranges from the simplest, classic version of orecchiette—tossed with fresh tomato sauce, basil, and grated cacio cheese—to traditional recipes with broccoli rabe, rich meat sauce, or slow-cooked beef roll (braciole) ragù.
